My interest in the history of our Southern neighbor led to a series about the Mexican Revolution. I was looking for a revolution that had a result which improved the lives of it’s citizens. Though, it had mixed result, I felt Mexico was a good example. I started portraying heroes of the revolution, but as I was researching images I soon started wanting to honor all the lesser known and unknown participants. Here is a small selection of the works I’ve created around this subject.
